Boomerang and Blueys are great for surfing with Elizabeth the best beach for families and children. It has the added bonus of being patrolled by the Pacific Palms Surf Club during peak holiday times Shelly Beach nestled between Elizabeth Beach and Boomerang Beach is a 15 minute bush walk. This beach is popular with persons who prefer an "all over" tan Seven Mile Beach to the north and Sandbar Beach to the south both have 4 wheel drive access (a permit is required) |

Smiths Lake with the famous "Frothy Coffee Boatshed" is great for Children, and watersports such as sailing, windsurfing. water sking and swimming.It is closed to the ocean the majority of the time by Sandbar Beach. Wallis Lake opens to the ocean between Forster and Tuncurry and is also great for water sports and fishing . It is famous for its divine oysters.
